    Return/Refund Policy

    30 Day Return Policy

    At Red River Music Company, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase and service. If you are not satisfied with our product or service, return it to us within 30 days or purchase, and we will refund your purchase price, subject to the rules and guidelines in this policy.

    When returning a product, you can request an identical replacement item, exchange the product for another item, or request a refund.

    If you received damaged (shipping) or defective goods, or if we made a mistake, we will pay the shipping charges to have the damaged/defective item returned to us and to send you a replacement if desired.

    Due to the uniqueness of custom-made items, there are no refunds on Custom-made products.  Custom-made products are not returnable unless damaged in shipping or defective when received.  Received damaged or defective custom products will be repaired / restored to your satisfaction at no additional cost to you.

     

    Steps to Return a Product or Request a Refund

    If you have an item you wish to return, the first step is to complete the RETURN AUTHORIZATION form.  Follow the link below, complete the form and send it via e-mail to returns@rrmcark.com.

    After you have submitted the RETURN AUTHORIZATION, we will send you a Return Authorization Number and instructions for sending the product back along with an address for the return.  The Return Authorization Number must be placed on the shipping label and outside of the packaging of the item. Failure to do this can cause delays in processing the return.

    You can return a product for any reason!  We value your business and want you to come back. Being honest about the reason for the return will help us process your exchange, replacement or refund quickly and will help us improve our business.

     

    Exceptions to Our Return Policy

    The following products can only be returned for replacement if they are defective or damaged in transit to you, or only for exchange or refund if they are still sealed.

    ·        Copyrighted materials cannot be returned once opened due to copyright law. These include books, CDs’, DVDs’, videotapes, software or other product which is sealed and / or also marked with a warning regarding breaking the seal.

    ·        Blank media such as cassettes, open reel tape, ADAT, DAT, CD, DVD, MiniDisc, removable memory cards and hard drives.

    ·        Disposable products.

    ·        Personal use items, such as items place in the mouth or ear, cannot be returned once opened due to health laws.  This includes all microphones, guitar talk boxes, ear plugs and in-ear systems.

    ·        Opened instrument parts.

    ·        Clothing that has been opened.

    ·        Some items must be returned through the manufacturer or distributer if found to be defective.  These items can only be returned to us if they are unopened.

    ·        Gift certificates or gift cards cannot be returned.

    Custom-made products are not refundable due to the unique nature of each item.  If custom-made items are damaged in shipment to you or are received defective, we will repair / restore the item at no cost to you.

     

    Shipping Costs for Returns or Refunds

    For Returns: If the return is needed as a result of damage, defect, or if we made a mistake, we will pay the shipping for you to return the item to us.  In these cases, we will also pay the shipping cost to send the replacement or repaired item back to you.

    For Exchanges:  If you wish to exchange a product you have received for a different product (within the 30 day window), we will pay the shipping cost to have your items returned to us if  our guidelines for returning items are followed.  You will be responsible for the shipping cost for the replacement item.

    For refunds:  In the case of an outright refund, we will refund the purchase price of the product and you will be responsible for the return shipping on the product you are returning.  The instructions for return must be followed in order to receive a complete refund. Once we receive the returned merchandise, we will process your refund within 1-2 business days.  We will send you a confirmation to the e-mail address on file with your original order.

     

    Restocking Fees

    Occasionally we must charge a restocking fee.  This is done only when the return items show signs or wear and tear, or if the items are returned without the original packaging, contents and / or accessories.  Wear and tear refers to damage caused by use or misuse of the item. Contents and accessories include owner manuals without user notes, original warranty cards and other documents, parts and accessories included in the original packaged item.  Packaging includes all inner and outer packaging.

    Our restocking fee is dependent on the cost to replace missing items or parts to return the item to a like-new condition. The minimum fee is 15% of the purchase price.

    These conditions apply to all returns.  A restocking fee may also be charged for any defective item that is returned in a damaged condition (non-shipment damage).
